Salmon is a versatile fish that is very healthy and high in Omega 3s and vitamins. Try this recipe for a delicious and nutritious meal. Round it out with a side of steamed broccoli, rice and a greek salad for a complete meal.


1/2 cup Spicy Brown Mustard

4 Tbsp. sugar

4 Tbsp. water

2 Tbsp. vegetable oil

1 tsp. Garlic Powder

4 lb salmon fillets , skin on

2 Tbsp. freshly chopped parsley

Lemon wedges for garnish



MIX Mustard, sugar, water, oil, and garlic powder in a small bowl. Reserve 4 tablespoons of mixture. Set aside. Place salmon in a large resealable plastic bag or glass dish. Add remaining marinade; turn to coat well. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Remove salmon from marinade. Discard any remaining marinade. Grill salmon, skin side down, over medium heat 15 to 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. You can use a grill pan or sauté pan. Brush with reserved marinade mixture during last few minutes of cooking. Sprinkle with parsley and serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
